Go Promoting is pleased to be a sponsor of a major upcoming sport event in Indianapolis. The Indianapolis Women’s Half Marathon is just a couple weeks away, on September 3, 2011. This inaugural event (with over 1,900 registrants as of this post!) has been organized by KLA (Ken Long & Associates ) of Indianapolis. The excitement being generated by this event (which also includes a 5K run/walk) is amazing.
Being a partner with KLA, and having their trust to work on event signage, banners and displays, is an honor and a privilege. Without the help of Garry Jones (President of Lloyd’s of Indiana) and others, it would be nearly impossible to pull off producing over 52 banners, 72 signs, and creating a custom Finish Line display, all in 2 weeks or less. (Lloyd’s of Indiana is the parent company of Go Promoting, and it’s sister company also.)
Speaking of which, Dennis Hunter, of Custom Print Products (sister company to Go Promoting) will be overseeing the installation and take-down of the finish line display. Giving part of a Friday night and chunk of a Saturday on a holiday weekend, is indicative of the support I receive on a regular basis, in working with great people who care about the success of our clients.

It’s not too late to register for this event! The race will benefit Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run is currently the only positive youth development program for girls with evidence-based results. Girls on the Run promotes physical, emotional, social and intellectual development in 3rd through 8th grade girls.
